Redundant work at Hydro-Engineering

From the beginning of the year, at Hydro-Engineering S.A - integrant part of U.C.M. Reşiţa group, by sustained work and own design, it was performed the first digital speed governor 100%redundant, intended to fit the hydro generating sets having over 50 MW outputs.

Both the design and manufacture of the product were performed observing the requirements stated by the customer - Hidroelectrica - in specifications, also the requirements stated in the Norms given by the National Authorities of Regulation in the Field of Electric Power, UNO-DEN.

By fitting the hydro units having outputs higher than 50 MW with this type of equipments, it is provided an increased reliability of the hydro unit delivered by U.C.M. Reşiţa SA also a better quality of the supplied energy.

The governor was delivered in assembly condition with preliminary tests of putting into operation.

Within the first three months after putting into operation, the HYE experts will perform the efficiency tests of the governor in order to qualify the hydro unit for rendering services in the system according to ANRE UNO_DEN norms.
