UCM Resita at FOREN 2008
During 15 - 19 July 2008, the companies U.C.M. Reşiţa S.A., Hydro Engineering S.A. and U.C.M. Energy S.R.L. attended The Regional Forum of Energy FOREN 2008,
which took place in Neptun-Olimp Spa, with the purpose to promote on the expert market both the well known products and the latest variants of UCM Reşiţa Group in the hydropower field of activity.
The participation of the three companies of UCM Reşiţa Group was noticed in parallel, both at the exhibition stand within the show room and through their presence at the round tables organized during the exhibition. UCM Reşiţa exhibition stand has succeeded to draw a large number of visitors. Representatives of traditional business partners have and also potential new clients or co-workers have visited our stand.
The culminant point of UCM Reşiţa Group participation to this exhibition has represented by the Round Table having the topic "New answers for environmental friendly power generation", organized at FOREN on 18.06.2008. The speakers at this round table were Mr. Sorin TOADER, Technical Director of Hydro Engineering S.A. and Mr. Dumitru MARTA, Sales Manager of U.C.M. Reşiţa S.A., they succeeding to capture the attention of the audience with original topics, such as:
- "Mono-block hydro units of PIT-Bulb Type, optimal variant to fit the low head hydro power plants";
- "Mono-block hydro units of Francis Type, intended to fit the medium head hydro power plants".
The event was attended by a large number of visitors consisting, mainly, of customers, business partners and co-workers of UCM Reşiţa Group of companies.
This second participation of UCM Reşiţa Group at FOREN, in an original formula with three companies, can be considered a total success.
