Pascota, no. 1 at Pannonia Ring
Mission "almost impossible" in Hungary
The multiple champion of U.C. M Resita, Ionel PASCOTA won, at the end of last week, the endurance competition Yeti Race 2007 that took place on the famous racing track Pannonia Ring in Hungary.
Although he started from the position 57, since he was unable to participate to the classification race due to a tumble during training, PASCOTA proved once again his mastership succeeding at the end of the race, by an exceptional steering, to classify the Romanian team on the first place.
At this competition attended 67 teams from the entire Europe. Each team goes in for the race with several pilots, the total number of participants being over 200 motor cyclists. Thanks to the excellent performance of the pilot of UCM Resita Sport Club, and of his fellow member Ionut MANEA, the National Hymn of Romania was heard for the first time on the racing track Pannonia Ring.
