Just one point short for celebrating total fiesta
The last stages of Hill Climbing National Championship took place on Friday, 29th of September and Sunday, 1st of October, on the route Rāşnov in Braşov County.
At both competitions the pilots from the Sports Club UCM Resita, Mircea PĂDUREANU, Eugen PETEANU and Florin CIOCLODA finished victoriously the race in front of their competitors at classes and groups where they participated.
In an unbelievable race, unfortunately without the help of hundreds HP beneath the car hood of Victor BALDESCU, the local pilot Lucien HORA missed the title of absolute national champion, being one point short of it at the end of the season.
Winning the Open Classification remains however an open challenge for the pilot HORA in the next season of hill climbing 2007.
As concerns the team classification, Racing Team UCM Resita won the first place in both stages at Rāşnov, being declared national champion before attending the last two stages in this competition season of hill climbing.
