"A new beginning" ROBUS Resita S.A. - with long strides towards the foreign market
At the end of January, the Buses Factory ROBUS located on Mociur industrial area, hosted a meeting attended by potential business partners representing the companies in Resita, experts from ROBUS, media and top management representatives, meeting held under the topic "International Business Partnership" ROBUS 2007.
The works of the meeting, attended both by partners on domestic market also by the representatives of associate companies in Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Hungary, intended to be "A new beginning", aiming to conquer new markets for ROBUS Company, the group U.C.M. Resita being the majority shareholder with 99 % . With a target of 200 buses intended for 2007, the buses factory is relying both on domestic and foreign markets, the representatives of which attended at the event. Although it is less than one year since it was incorporated, the factory succeeded to homologate all types of buses intended to be manufactured, stated Mr. Aurelian DRIGA - Managing Director of the Company.
The factory incorporated and developed in its first stage in partnership with Russkie Avtobusy in Russia, ROBUS restarts on its own strength, providing presently four types of buses. The "price-quality ratio will make the difference on the market in the case of ROBUS products", said Mr. Adrian CHEBUTIU, the president of U.C.M. Resita Group. It was kept a special partnership with the Russian mother-factory, Russkie Avtobusy assigning two permanent representatives at Resita: one representative dealing with sales, and the other one acting as technical adviser. "In the years to come, here at ROBUS will be a real center of expertise, specially intended for business at European level, and until 2008 it will be applied the motorization system Euro IV, further aiming to a real partnership with the Russian Company, even for the fact that we are the first collaborating country outside Russia" - concluded Adrian CHEBUTIU.
