The team of Romania speed motorcycles aims to a new title of Balkan champion, due to the results obtained by the pilots of UCM Reşiţa Sports Club on the route from Vārşeţ (Serbia) Airport, in the II-nd stage of Balkan Championship for speed motor racing that took place between 19 and 20 August.
Leaving no chances for his competitors, Ionel PASCOTĂ succeeded to classify on the I-st place, both at 600 cmc and 1.000 cmc class.
Also, within the same stage that took place on the circuit from Vārşeţ, Petru CHIRIŢĂ was classified the third at 125 cmc class, Armand HAVRANKO occupied the first step of the dais at 600 cmc class - debutants, and Octavian VRĂJITORU finished the race on the eighth place at 1.000 cmc class (this bringing points for Romania in the race for the team title).
The four pilots of Moto Racing U.C.M. Reşiţa team will participate, Friday, 8 September at Pleven in Bulgaria, within the III-rd stage of the Balkan Motor Racing Championship, approaching it with the same enthusiasm and abnegation.
