The hydro power stations from Bumbesti - Livezeni designed and equipped by UCM group
UCM Resita received the order from ROMELECTRO for development, design and supply the equipment for the complex hydro power project from Bumbesti - Livezeni, on Jiu River.
The intake structure for Dumitra and Bumbesti will be equipped with two valve units - butterfly type, for Dumitra and Bumbesti HEPP-s, UCM Resita will supply 6 complete hydro units, Inlet valves, horz. Francis turbines, Governors, Generators, including the automation and service plants.
For the micro hydro power plant Livezeni it will be performed the complete micro hydro unit with auxiliaries.
The experts from UCM Resita will provide technical assistance at assembly and will perform the tests for putting into operation Bumbesti and Dumitra HEPP-s and the micro hydro power plant Livezeni,
The manufacture of the equipments is performed on a period of approximately 3 years, putting into operation of Dumitra HEPP being scheduled for June 2012 and for Bumbesti HEPP it is estimated December 2012.
Presently, there are in progress design works for the equipments, at Turboinstitut Ljubljana there were performed successfully the tests on turbine models intended to fit Dumitra HEPP, and the manufacture of draft elbows, pertaining to Dumitra HEPP is in progress of completion.
For the water power station Bumbesti - Livezeni, will give their support other companies within UCM group: the design of the equipments manufactured by UCM Resita is performed by HYDRO ENGINEERING company, the cast and forged parts in the scope of supply are manufactured by UCM Turnate and the wood patterns for these parts will be performed BURGEROM.
